Description of the excursion

I'll take you to the Bernese Oberland region, where you can test and discover different snowshoes, while enjoying the unique winter landscape of the Lombachalp.

Snowshoes and poles will be provided and brought directly to the site.

Above the city of Interlaken lies Habkern, a small village nestled between the mountains. The Lombachalp, not far from the village, offers one of the largest and most impressive marsh landscapes in all of Switzerland. When the sky is clear, you can enjoy the view of the 3 emblematic peaks of Switzerland: the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau.

09.30 – We begin the climb towards Bolberg, very slowly from Habkern
11:30 – Break; we choose the first set of rackets and get equipped
13.30 – Picnic with a view (weather permitting), we'll exchange snowshoes
14.15 – Short descent via Winterröscht
15.00 – Arrival at Lombachalp, departure with the Alpine Bus

From 3:30 pm – Coffee in Habkern, briefing and advice on equipment
