Snowshoe discovery tour in the Bernese Oberland

Description of the excursion

I'll take you to the Bernese Oberland region, where you can test and discover different snowshoes, while enjoying the unique winter landscape of the Lombachalp.

Rackets and poles are provided by Decathlon Heimberg and brought directly to the site.

Above the city of Interlaken lies Habkern, a small village nestled between the mountains. The Lombachalp, not far from the village, offers one of the largest and most impressive marsh landscapes in all of Switzerland. When the sky is clear, you can enjoy the view of the 3 emblematic peaks of Switzerland: the Eiger, the Mönch and the Jungfrau.

Indicative program:

09.30 – Alpine bus from Habkern, Zäundli to Lombachalp
09.45 – We choose the first batch of snowshoes and get equipped
10.00 – Gentle departure, climb via Winterröscht
11.00 – Break with a view of the 3 peaks, we exchange snowshoes
12.00 – We start the descent via Bolberg, second change of snowshoes
12.30 – We reach the road and the Alpine Bus
12.45 – Arrival in Habkern
From 1:00 p.m. – Dinner at the Sport Hotel, briefing and advice on equipment

65 CHF per person / 45 CHF for children under 12 years old

2-3 different models of snowshoes will be available depending on binding, type, materials, shape, crampons and brand. You can gladly contact me for more details.
